The Baufritz building process at a glance
The initial structure (a water tight shell incorporating walls, doors, windows and the roof) of a Baufritz home can be constructed in as little as one to two days, and the average home is usually completed in around 9 months from planning and design right through to completion – on average a third of the time it takes to build an ordinary brick and mortar house.

Quality begins with the selection of the building materials and their testing. To protect your investment, we use only high-quality chamber-dried timber and insulation and building materials that contain no or very low concentration of potential pollutants.
<
>

The timber arrives in our modern and fully heated high-tech production halls where it is processed on computer-controlled machines by highly skilled timber construction specialists.
<
>

The results: wall, ceiling and roof elements that fit perfectly.
<
>

The house is thermally insulated with an innovative Baufritz bio insulation material made from wood chips.
<
>

The windows and doors are fitted. With all dimensions 100% accurate, there are no gaps and no need for PU foams.
<
>

The facade is pre-protected by a double coat of environmentally friendly paint in the colour of your choice.
<
>

Our interior design team make the finishing touches to your new home.
<
>

After final inspection by our experts, the house is awarded the Baufritz quality seal.
<
>

The parts are packed indoors so that they are protected from the elements, and are transported to the site. All sections have already been equipped with rain protection in the factory.
<
>

When scheduling the date for on-site construction, we monitor the regional weather in an attempt to avoid an unsuitable day.
<
>

The foundation construction is completed in advance, according to our work schedule.
<
>

As a result of the extremely accurate prefabrication of all the sections, they can be assembled on site with the absolute minimum of fuss.
<
>

Our team of professional house builders can assemble your house in just one or two days from the prefabricated precision components.
<
>

In an incredibly short time, we can have your house complete externally and internally protected against the elements and intruders.
<
>

Internal work can commence on the second day of construction.
<
>

Your dream home will be ready for you to move in on the agreed date.
