Do your bit for climate protection – plant a tree for free!
In 2007 Baufritz won the ‘Entrepreneur of the year’ award in Germany and the prize money is being used to fund the development of our very own Climate Protection Wood. There is space for a total of 11,111 trees (to mark our 111th anniversary in 2007) and planting will continue in phases over the coming years.
The project is being co-ordinated in conjunction with the Department for the Environment & Protection in Germany and we have plans to include a special pond to encourage freshwater biodiversity and also an acre of protected land for local wildlife.
We will plant a tree for every person who takes part so the more people who join in the bigger the wood and the more it will do to help protect the environment. All you have to do is fill in your details and a tree will be planted in your name.
